Medical Nurse Case Manager, Full-Time/Part-Time
We are seeking an experienced full-time and part-time nurse case manager to provide field based services with an emphasis on early intervention, coordination of quality medical care and return to work planning. Local travel is a requirement of the position.
The nurse case manager works closely with medical providers, employers, and adjusters. The primary territory is Northern Virginia, however, attending medical appointments in the District of Columbia and Maryland may be required.
Qualifications:
- BSN is required
- Virginia registered nurse licensure required
- CCM or CDMS Certification is preferred
- Maryland Workers Compensation certification a plus
- DC license is a plus
Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of clinical nursing experience with a background in orthopedic, occupational medicine, catastrophic case management and an understanding of Worker’s Compensation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Word is required. Excel skills are is a plus.
